I was told that you can request the fee to be removed from rental charges. This fee is optional since car rental agency should pay for themselves to operate at an airport, not renters.

I have successfully ask the Enterprise agent to remove at BOS. Hertz does not charge that fee from BOS rental also. (maybe I have a MA license) What's your experience with that fee?
