I have to 2nd the Curacao advice - we had a corner suite overlooking the beach - it was beautiful there. The water was so clear and the snorkeling right off the beach was GREAT! We rented a car and toured the whole island, and checked out all the other nice beaches. The all inclusive is the way to go - we probably "spent" $3k on food and drinks for the week!! If you didn't like the rumrunner, toss it and get another one! Beer gets hot? Get another cold one, no problem mon....what a GREAT vacation!! Just be warned, most of the beaches were topless, even on Marriott property......
