Not at all. We're talking about battling for overhead bin space close to your seat. If you're a 1K, you only have to fight it out with other 1Ks and GS to get on the plane early. If half the plane is scrumming at the same time, the chances of you getting onboard in time to get your luggage stored close to you is dramatically lowered.

If it is indeed all elites at the same time (and how can it not be...it's what CO does now and well they're perfect) this is a material downgrade in benefits ti 1Ks (and 1Ps).

Meanwhile, the other thing that's being overlooked is the increased amount of time allotted to boarding. If you want to be first on the plane, you're going to have to sit on the plane an extra 5-25 minutes. That is a big deal too. Sitting on a ghetto 767 for 65 minutes before pushing back?!?! Horrendous.
