Thanks Jaimito and Penguinmoon! I am told and my research suggests somewhere in South Jakarta. I am looking at up to USD 3,300-500 per month with 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a pool. Apart from rumah123, the Indonesian expatriate website and the more commonly used real estate websites, is there an informal, word of mouth system on houses that are coming onto the market for rent. Or are there tasteful townhouses or apartments (but not in huge complexes) which cannot be researched via dedicated websites, for example. By the way, this website (FlyerTalk) is a font of information for Indonesia!
