Apologies for being unclear. I mean only to be genuinely helpful. It seems to me that you should either travel at the back (using cash and getting better value than wasting DC miles for economy) or expect a lot less bangs per buck when traveling premium on redemption. That was all I meant.
Oh I fully accept this. You do not need to apologise. As I say, I have nothing to compare it to, except my own preconceptions and I will be the first to admit that my expectations were probably higher than is realistic.
It's just a shame for whatever reason this cabin crew member seemed to get his back up - which isn't right.
I'd say send in an email to their customer relations department - they have always been excellent with me when I've reported surly and rude behaviour in offering vouchers and apologies.
Thanks, yes to be honest this is the only thing from any of the flights that left a bad taste in my mouth. Everything else on all 3 flights, while not always amazing was perfectly pleasant. But for the crew to be undeniably rude to a passenger, regardless of what class you are flying in, especially for such an innocuous reason seemed to be uncalled for.
It's very easy to expect Biz Class to be a better product than it actually turns out to be. Although the hard product has improved immensely over the years, apart from some USA based airlines, the soft product has been steadily going downhill due to cost cutting.
Yes I completely agree with this sentiment. The hard product on all three was actually really good, very comfortable seats, lots of space and especially legroom and decent food(although food is not that important to me). I guess thats what you pay for with C. The actual soft product, i.e. staff attitude and behaviour was not all that different to that of staff in economy class and that is what surprised me.
