Without registering an opinion one way or the other outside of what has already been said, it appears to me that most/all of the confusion surrounding BFT seems to stem from whether any of the following are truly "welcome" on the site:

-New customers that don't ask for assistance (and therefore not forced into using "the link")

-Repeating customers that don't ask for assistance (repeatedly not using the link whether they have another one or just not feeling the force)

In other words... If I'm new to the site, bid on my own without ever asking for assistance or using "the link" and simply post my results, is that something that would be welcomed on the site?

And related, if I keep posting my results without using "the link" for my own reasons (whatever they are), would I still be welcomed to do so?

I guess I for one would like to garner a clear answer on these so that others may know when (and when not) to use the site.
