Adding flight segments onto Amex 241 - possible?
So I'm planning an Australia trip on one of my Amex 241 vouchers. I'll be looking for 2 F seats, booking the first return available after the outbound date comes up, and then adjusting the return date until I have got the trip right.

But I have a problem. I live up North.

BA seem to release LHR-SYD award seats about two weeks before they free up award inventory on LHR-MAN.

So for maximum flexibility / likelihood of getting my desired dates I am best off initially booking LHR-SYD-LHR.

My question: once I have got the longhaul flights booked, will it be possible to just add a MAN-LHR feeder and return onto the original itinerary by phoning up, or would I get told that I have to cancel and rebook?
