In Tallinn, Swissotel is a good 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Plenty of taxis available if that suits you better (can't be more than 7-8 EUR).

If you really want to 'go wild', there's a bus that goes from outside HI City Center directly to the ferry terminal.
