I have flown both US and UA as an elite and I take exception that US is any worse than UA. In fact, I would argue that US exceed UA in most aspects of customer service. With recent enhancements to their domestic F product and lie-flat seats in TATL biz and I really don't see how UA comes out on top. Add customer service to the mix and UA takes a quick nosedive.

US went through a rough period post-merger but it seems like they're pulling out of it. My only wish is that US would jump ship on *A and head over to ST or OW. Granted, *A is a better alliance but US will always be treated like a redheaded stepchild to UA.
