For those that mentioned DLNA/ALLSHARE..
Not sure how these work on the Xoom but I have an Archos 101 and the following doing th trick... UPNPlay and Vplayer from the Marketplace.. UPNPlay is the client that will find the DLNA servers and Vplayer will play pretty much any codec combo out there i.e. all your um stuffz. Vplayer does cost a couple bucks.
