the old Terminal 1 at Ferihegy Airport in Budapest was the worst...shabby old terminal, low ceiling, lots of smoking going on...brutal (that was in 1991 just after the fall of Communism). In North America I'd say my worst was ORD (O'Hare....or as I call it, O'Hell).
