Did you get a chance to look at the new Doubletree opposite at all ? was due to open the week after we left
Other than peering in through the doors as the shuttle bus picked up from the Doubletree, no, but it looks pretty smart and is slightly more convenient if you want to explore the town (I wasn't that inclined to be honest).
Like you, I would happily stay at the Hilton City again. The staff really did try and the whole stay here shuttle there thing worked for us just fine. Reckon there might be some good deals for this around at the moment
