I have a flight next week on Friday that cleared at midnight last night. I was watching very carefully because I wanted to switch my seat to sit next to my wife on award FC ticket. I had no doubt I would clear since this had to be the easiest upgrade in the system. I live in a relatively small Delta market. No planes bigger than A320 size. Most planes are RJs. Because of upcoming big event, Delta is bringing in a 757. I am traveling opposite direction as everyone else so plane is EMPTY. Was shocked when upgrade didnt clear at window yesterday. Expert Flyer showed V9, in fact 9's across the board for avail. I though maybe I just didnt get email...checked seat assignment and still 18d. Upgrade went through just after midnight. Go figure.
