They might have been a couple of years out of date but the info I needed them for never went out of date anyway. Usually got them for about 1/4 of the price. ^
Yes - truly weird. The huge Borders on Charing Cross Road is now TKMaxx, the huge one on Oxford Street is now a New Look, and I don't even know what's become of the one in the N1 (Angel) shopping centre. I remember when that was built and every day going past it, there would be more books added to the shelves before it opened. Now it's closed - very strange indeed.
