The price is roughly the same on both. London shares are priced in GBX, so 1300 GBX = £13.00. $20 is about £13.

I'm tempted to buy a single share certificate in IHG plc so I can get my name on the share register to sample the discounts (about £25 to deal in a certificate). Only problem is I don't use IHG as much as I used to, so it probably won't be worth it.
