Is it even possible to book the previous night with a non-club-level room, while keeping the club-level room for the second night? I'm guessing that the easiest thing to do would be to simply get a non-club-level room for both nights, but being on the club level would be nice, so I figured I'd check here first to see if anyone had any advice.
I am just going to assume you don't want to switch rooms. I have done it before with Marriott. I booked one room a single room but then I had unexpected company the night before only, therefore I had to book a suite the day prior. The only downside was that I had to "check out, check in" but there was no problem. I did something similar with SPG, just have them hold any luggage you have during the waiting period if it's not too much trouble for you.
