I'm not sure about that. On UA, that was the case.

But on CO, they don't sweep for non-elites - they simply move you to the new seats, and since the planes are numbered the same way, no change in seat assignments.

To be fair, not sure what will happen by March 2012, but OP only has to worry between February 1, 2012, and when he flies.
