alinghi90, if you have a USAirways credit card it's cheaper to buy miles for the recipient at 50% off. You can also buy miles for yourself at 50% off, then share them. I would never buy miles at full price. I'm sure someone would be happy to share 25K of their miles if you paid them full price + share fees, lol.
