I have been living in STL and 2MM PLT on AA. Now moving to IAH. I'm interested in maximizing CO/UA miles. I'm completely confused on the merger and didn't pay any attention to it until now. I'm Premier on UA, no status on CO. How do I navigate this to maximize status and miles. Does CO offer status match? Should I do it now or will the merger take care of that? Should I concentrate all my mileage efforts on CO or UA? Any suggestions on credit cards? I loved the fact that my citibank card miles counted toward lifetime miles, does anyone know of one that will do the same for CO or UA?
