You could book XXX-ZRH-LUG-ZRH-XXX, at least for starting from Switzerland it's almost always cheaper when starting in LUG and connection over ZRH than a direct flight from ZRH, maybe it's the way into Switzerland as well (plus some more miles ) - Lugano is a short hop over the Alps from Zurich, while not over Mont Blanc or Matterhorn you should still see plenty of mountains, and depending on how you can book it, it might not even be inconvenient as Tessin (Ticino) is also very good for hiking and should be included in any trip to Switzerland.. plus Pizza/Pasta ^
