GAs can get you through if they can't get your mobile BP to scan. The TSA is another story. I've seen plenty of issuess with the TSA scanners not being able to read phones, if the TSA scanners are present/operational in the first place. The potential hassle just isn't worth it for me, so I always carry paper.
