I'd imagine due to ties, bmi have far more 'normal' 'genuine' DC members and recurring bmi metal customers in Australia than they do in many other countries. Still hardly any, but more.
Almost all of the miles that gained me my Silver (Gold once or twice) were flown to Melbourne, as it happens.
Mostly on Singapore of course.
