I have been scouring the interwebs and trying all sorts of crazy coupons for a decent price on a 6 day convertible rental in LA. Prices were averaging $600+ at the reputable places. I was willing to pick-up from any rental location in LA even though LAX would be most convenient.

Through Vayama, I was able to book a convertible at LAX for $317 all in. The reservation is with Avis, which was one of the pricier options on other booking engines. I am also satisfied with the amount of documentation of the reservation. Hopefully there will be no problems at Avis.
