Allowed, yes but you have to ask as even tho TSO's are supposed to tell you that you can have a witness present.....

If true, there is a very very big problem but imho, this is one story that needs to have more supporting information so I'm going to withhold judgement for now. Not to take the side of the TSA as you know me but I'm just saying we need to have a "Jack Webb" first.
