We have been told that SOP allows for a witness but AOP seems to be up to each individual TSA employee and no corrective action is taken against those working outside of SOP.
On top of that we, those who are being abused by TSA, have no idea just what SOP says or what limits are in place to control TSA employees.
SOP is also supposed to allow those witnesses to take video of the grope, but I don't think there have been any successful records of the private-room gropes.
