I rented a ranger pickup in MSY yesterday. I really didn't care what vehicle I had, I just needed something to drive to downtown and back, and the $19.99 deal on budget.com was the best rate I could find.

Anyway, I noticed that the truck they gave me had the standard pickup bed, instead of the covered, locking one that I got the last time I rented a Ranger from Budget. Is this change universal? Like I said, it didn't matter to me on this trip, but I could see it being a big deal to others.
