On April 6th, I applied for Chase UA MileagePlus card and got approved. I am still waiting for the 50k miles to post to my account.

On April 18th, I applied Chase Continental OnePass card for 25k miles and today I got a denied letter from Chase. The letter stated the reason for this denied application is -
Not enough accounts opened long enough to establish a credit history.

After speaking to a Chase CSR...she mentioned that if I applied for 2 chase cards within a month, they automatically deny the second one. The reason stated on the letter was just namesake.

I know I made a mistake for applying for the second Chase card immediately. I am wondering if there are tips or hints to convince them on the phone that they re-approve my application again. Thanks for your help
