I wish they were always that quiet but as someone else said, you must have timed it right.. I came back from a business trip in istanbul last Friday (ashamed to say with KLM because they offered better times and also I was a little miffed at BA for some misplaced baggage from MAD via LCY the week before) and IST, AMS and GLA were all very busy.

Hoping it's quiet tomorrow though - doing GLA - LHR - ORD - DAY with 4 others so plenty of free seats in the general departure lounges (can't guest them all in and can't be ignorant so can't use the lounges) and speedy security queues will be just fine with me.
