First things first, I absolutely believe in individual liberty and bodily sovereignty, so please don't take this as any kind of mandate. It's just a point to consider.
That said, you may want to think it through once more because privacy issues aren't the only concerns with regard to the scanner. These things DO put out dangerous ionizing radiation, and exposure is cumulative. It doesn't wear off, and every last little bit does count. MMW scanners are just as dangerous as BKSX scanners, simply via a different mechanism (degradation of helical integrity in human DNA).
Obviously the TSA's disgusting scheme is coldly calculated to push people into using these worthless, vile, evil, and disgusting machines. You recognize that, which is more than can be said for the public at large right now. But please, for the sake of your health, consider pushing back. I would hate to see you stricken with cancer or another illness as a result of the "scope" half of scope-n-grope. As distasteful as the groping may be, the one thing that can be said for it is that it doesn't cause cancer.
As an aside, take that last sentence out of context and look at it as it stands. That's what we've come to in terms of airport security, in terms of our freedom to travel. That the only redeeming quality of TSA patdowns is that they don't cause cancer. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for the TSA findin' da turrrrrsts.
