The Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection offers VIP status.. I asked the assistant manager what VIP means, and it sounds like its equal to a hill of beans.. you get an amenity is what she figures. But VIP status? That should mean top of the line treatment like what you're getting Jarusoba.. but then again you're a AMEX Centurion member.. that's a really tall glass of water to match.

Jarusoba: Sorry forgot there was another thread.. I was sure a few FPCers got the beach Area Casita Suite.. With AMEX, your package includes a room upgrade a check-in right?^
We got confirmed the Beach Area Casita Suite at reservation. (or a few days after the reservation was made). We used the WOW offer (free suite offer), stacked it with a complimentary night cert and further stacked it with a suite upgrade cert and got 2 nights at the Beach Area Casita Suite.

There was another couple (our friends) who went with us. They are also Amex Cent members and Fairmont Plat members. After we booked our room, they did the same thing as us. But they were not confirmed the Beach Area Casita Suite. They only had the Signature Casita confirmed. At check-in, all 4 of us showed up and the hotel realized that we all know each other, our friends got upgraded to the Beach Casita Suite too.

That was a nice weekend at Cancun. Even our AC flights got op-up as SEs.^
