The announcement from APFA regarding closure of the SFO-I FA base will likely follow in the coming days or weeks. With no flights requiring internationally qualified FAs, AA has no reason keeping the base open in SFO. I imagine the FAs will be given transfer to other bases (based on seniority) including LAX and MIA^
