So there is (and has been) an offer for 50K for signing up for the AA Select AMEX. I haven't seen any better offers from AA for getting their credit card. My plan is to take this offer, get the 50K to post, then cancel the card at the end of the first year so I don't have to pay an annual fee (...because I get better "usage" offers from other credit cards).

Am I missing anything? Are there any better offers out there with the AA credit card?
