I just had a two week rental in AMS and booked it using the UK website. I tried the same reservation using the US website and it was DOUBLE what the UK was. In fact the UK site included tax, veh fees and cdw. The UK site did NOT ask me which country I was from. I called the US reservations to have a double up placed in the file and there was no problem. When checking a rate try a different countries website. You may be suprised at the results.
