Im not sure how long this card has been available, but it is the first time I have seen it.
Amex Express Rewards Credit Card
No annual fee, and £1500 spend in 3 months will give you 18k MR. Sounds like a no risk way of gaining a few more points.
Then I wondered whether I could transfer the points from this card to my Gold Rewards MR account. Whilst searching for the answer to that, I noticed the below. It seems to be "Amex Social Currency". But I cannot find much information on this, and more importantly whether it can be moved to my main MR account.
You will accrue Membership Rewards ExpressSM points for transactions charged and billed to your account at the following rates: 1 point for virtually every full £1 charged per transaction on your Card, 2 points for every full £1 charged per transaction on your Card at leading UK department stores (excluding Marks & Spencer), and 3 points for every full £1 charged per transaction on your Card at major UK supermarkets (excluding petrol forecourts) up to £500 per month after which you will continue to earn points at a rate of 1 point per £1.
Does anyone have this card, or a card that accrues Amex MR SM points? Opinions?
