Interesting input from all! In terms of respecting the employers themselves - I don't think I would really care too much about them, unless it's a small company. I'm sure a few execs within the organization would spend the same amount of money (maybe even more) on some "business meal."

I do believe in karma and that's the only thing that would hold me back from seriously trying anything like this. Plus, it's unfair to more serious candidates, as someone else mentioned.
