I needed Aeroplan miles rather urgently so did an international transfer to my Canadian AMEX card. It took about a week but I was surprised at the exchange rate they used which was rather bad! (about 3% off the spot rate on the day). But still happy as I got at least 50% more MR than I would have, had I not seen this thread!
