Ok..we seem to be getting closer to the actual facts as they occured. I was not aware that this was a long term rental. I understand now why you were so motivated to beat the company out of the under 25 fee. A $1600 surcharge would motivate a lot of people to try a sneaky move. The problem is you got caught. It is also now clear why they no longer want you as a customer.

A) Avis and other's do not want to rent to people under 25. The risk is just too high. The State of New York has legislated that auto rental companies MUST rent to this age bracket, however they may add a reasonable surcharge to cover the additional liability. $110. per day is a figure that is generally adequate to disuade any underage renters. Somehow..right or wrong.. you slipped thru. When the company became aware of it, they persued the matter by calling and probing you. When you did not return the vehicle on their demand...you were done! I don't care what the security person told you. He does not set the policy for Avis,The CONTRACT does. When in doubt..READ THE CONTRACT!

Re: "Black Card"- It's by Amex, not Avis. And you are correct, I am the Pauper that was not familiar with the term "Black Card" and inquired about it a while back. It is indeed an unofficial nickname for the Amex Centurian Card.

And I apologize.I now know that you did not fight over a $100.00. You sure fought like a s.o.b. over the $1600.00 though didn't you ?

Well..time to move on. It was a good scam and you got away with it. You took the company for $1600.00 and those "zany guys" gave you a boot in the ... out the door and said "don't come back".

Are you still waiting by the phone for Mr. Security Man to return your call ?

bob1008, you are obviously not who you are presenting yourself as. WHY ARE YOU SO AGGRESSIVE?
Why are you still making these accusations, once I have answered these same accusations in the above post. Why are you spewing forth the same garbage time and time again?.

Avis Security has admitted that I have done nothing wrong and have promised to rescind the ban, (something that I am still waiting to happen).

If I may say so it is you who is acting like the s.o.b. in defending Avis. I would and I am sure many others would like to know exactly who you are, and how you seem to have such intricate knowledge of avis policies, small print on contracts, etc. AND WHY ARE YOU WORKING SO HARD IN DEFENDING THESE GUYS?.

And I have a sneaking suspicion that you were trying to scam me in to revealing the AWD no so that you could conjure up some argument against me. Believe me guys, I would not be writing these lines if I would not know that truthfully I have done nothing to warrant this kind of treatment on these peoples part, and I honestly know that there is nothing in my dealings with Avis that can be interpreted as dishonest.

I had my facts right before I entered this rental, confirmed by a cust service manger at the Tulsa, OK office
there is nothing to suggest otherwise. all these accusations are baseless and bob1108 has seen it befitting to try and take me apart, bob you are starting up with he wrong guy, I am not in the vulnerable "red-faced" position you think I am in, I know the truth, you may deny it, you may challenge my integrity, you may suggest that I am making up stories, I have a lot of stuff in writing. even to the point that the original security guy who I spoke to at avis had no argument.
You claim to know everything, and you also seem to be trying excessively hard to defend this company,
you are acting strange, every post of yours seems to suggest your not an outsider, you seem to have a lot of knowledge about this industry.

Who exactly are you?
