G'day!

I will fly from Australia to London and then to Austria. The first flight is with Etihad, the second with Lufthansa (on a seperate ticket).

I arrive in Heathrow at 7am and the flight to Austria is at 2pm.

Do you think it is possible when I go to the information desk of Lufthansa in Heathrow and ask if they can book me on an earlier flight if there is a seat left?

I even wouldn't mind if it is not the same airport, just somewhere in and around Austria would work for me.

Do you think they do this without charging a fee?
