Does anyone know if you are allowed to request your dinner as breakfast? As someone who always sleeps a lot during the flights to Europe, I find the continental breakfast a little lacking. Especially since its usually at least another hour after landing that I get any real food after arrival. Not that the eggs are all that great, but its a little more filling than a small plate of fruit. Even if they put some cheese and a cold cut or two it would be more substantial.
In business class no it's generally not possible. In first you should be able to do it.
When the FA's go through the pre arrival snack service they're usually pretty busy. What I would suggest is if you want some more food is to ask them well before they start the snack service if they have anything to munch on left over from dinner. There's very often extra cheese & crackers from the after dinner service. I've had these mid flight before several times if I couldn't sleep.
