AMEX SkyMiles Offer Issue - It pays to be persistent
Back in January, I enrolled in a promotion from AMEX to receive the Platinum Delta SkyMiles card which after my first purchase and $1000 in spending combined would net me 40k miles / 15k MQM.

Well, AMEX had some technical difficulties (maybe coded the offer wrong?) and only credited me with 15k/5k.

I am happy to say that after several calls, after several emails, and after finally speaking to some very helpful and competent service representives, two plus months later, AMEX with some helpful pressing from Delta has finally resolved the situation and all miles/MQM due have posted.

Hopefully I am the only one who experienced this problem. But if not, stay with it and they will make it right (and a little extra). Oh, the offer code in AMEX's system was R936:0001. When using this code, the service rep was able to pull up the terms and conditions of the offer and confirm that I was shorted.
