I rented from Avis again this week. Reserved a full size, got a Buick Century.

I think the car is too big, brakes very slowly, takes corners very badly, and doesn't slow down when I take my foot off the accelerator. I'm probably just use to driving my own car after working from home for the last 5 months.

I guess that I also fear trying new things, ie Hertz. Maybe next week.
