We all have Hertz gold status from our company, but I'm sure after a while, I'll get upgraded status there as well. I rent for work almost every week monday-friday.
Last week I had to extend my stay by one day, so I called avis to inform them. It turns out that they couldn't look up my rental agreement number by name, or wizard number. I even asked if I could look it up online and they said no, it's only printed on the receipt we got when we picked up the car. They have not been trying harder for me, at least.
I like Avis in general, but I think it's time for me to sample other companies.
