Exactly and over 50 years with exclusively Braun for those reasons. My machine in Japan finally gave in and I need a replacement. Could run a 220V machine through a transformer, but would prefer to pick up a 110V somewhere, maybe make a mileage run out of it. Amazon has no more machines, only the outlet store and $ 500.00 is a bit overpriced to say the least. Just hoping that anyone living in a 110V country and enjoying coffee can steer me to a place.
