Non cardholders have 12 months to use credits.

Of course, when you close the account Barclay's is quick to remind you that you will lose any credits you have accrued in that account. I stopped using my card when the merger was announced, so that wasn't a problem.

If you want to make use of your credits, you might want to wait awhile and use the credits earned in that account before closing it.

Anything in my A+ account currently is only actual flight credits.
