I'm surprised to hear the point about buggy. While there are some shutdowns of apps randomly, they reboot up instantly again and usually right where one left off.
As or remote access. Try something like logmein, or some of the other remote access for ipad solutions they are really EXCELLENT and allow one to leave the mother ship at home.
There are also many good browsers, cloud browse, Terre, Atomic which allow near full flash support, games, videos, movies, web pages, flash forms, so having one of those helps to fully get around no flash onboard with Safari.
I use the logmein app to remote access back to my win7 device at home and run flash things like HULU and others from there. Audio support to the device works just fine.
