I've been mini-leasing with Avis for a long time and I'm wondering if anybody else has tried it. For about $650. a month I'm always driving a new Impala. No depreciation, no maintainence, no property tax, no insurance (relying on Diners Club and the insurance on my other vehicle which my insurer say's covers all rentals exactly as if it were my own car). For about $7500. annually I always have a new car. I don't think this is a terrible deal, although some people think I'm crazy. Any input ?
