Buying an apartment in NYC
After about 6 years of renting, I think I am finally ready to buy a place in NYC (Manhattan, not any of the boroughs).

Has anyone bought here recently? Any tips/suggestions? Any agent recommendations?

Specifically, I'm looking in the Grammercy/East Village/Murray Hill area and probably in the Studio or One Bedroom range.
