Delta Airlines Code & Ethics Help!!
Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience that might be able to offer some advice?
I recently flew back from GCM to JFK with a connection through Atlanta. Upon checking in at the ticket counter in GCM, the agent handed me my boarding pass and checked my luggage and we had minimal conversation.
When I arrived home that evening, I received an e-mail to my personal account asking me "how I liked my upgrade?" and another wondering "if I had arrived home safely."
When I asked the person to identify themselves, it turned out he was the Delta agent behind the ticket counter who retrieved my personal contact info when checking me in for a flight. Also stored in there is my home address, telephone number and credit card information!
I've called to speak to customer care representative on two occassions - both times they were astounded with the situation and promised me a call back from Delta Code & Ethics. I've written a letter and forwarded on the e-mail correspondence as well.
More than SIX WEEKS and still no response. I'm a PLATINUM and spend $500 more a week on business flights. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Any advice of who to reach out to so this never happens again?
