I've been reading and searching a lot on here and I'm still not sure if I understand the best methods to convert MR to cash. I have a gold premiere card and 75000 points. I have miles and accounts with continental and united (and more than enough for reward tickets). I'd like to use my points to fund the other aspects of a trip, like food and incendentals, but I don't know how to do that other than cashing out the points (I have a timeshare that generally covers the hotel needs).

It looks like amex gift cards and statement credits are 2p/1c. Merchant gift cards are 1p/1c, but there aren't any places I regularly shop at that I can use in place of cash. If I could get cards for gas, grocery stores, costco, generic amex GC, even amazon, that would be perfect. Are there places I can transfer my MR points that will give me access to better cards and exchange rates? Like Delta's 50% promo right now? Do they have better exchange rates on their gift cards? Any others I'm missing?

edit: oh boo. I see I have to be a delta amex cardholder to even SEE the giftcards in the marketplace?
