I did RDU-LHR in J a few months ago and had one of the best FA'S I've ever had the pleasure of flying with (But you are in Y so who knows!). When I arrived at LHR my checked bag did not come around on the belt. I went to the AA lost luggage counter and when they asked which flight I had arrived on and I replied with Raleigh, they looked at me oddly. They said they had not had a missing bag off the RDU flight in Months - and asked me for a description so they could go search for it as there was 'no way it is missing'. Lo and behold, 10 minutes later a smiling AA rep approached me with my bag which had been mislaid on the belt just outside of where passengers collect it. It was all quite impressive to see how much confidence they had in the RDU station.
